Leadlight and copper foil (Beginners)

The focus of this workshop is to provide beginners with an understanding of both leadlight and copper foil techniques.  For those who are experienced bring along the project you have been working on, or create a new piece.

You can choose what you would like to create for  your major piece whether it is a window or mirror (leadlight) or lampshade, jewellery box, or sun catcher (copper foil)

Class size limited to a maximum of 8.

Morning tea is provided

Advanced Leadlighting

This 8 week course is designed to enhance the knowledge gained in the beginners’ course. Students design, draw and handcraft their own project. No restrictions are placed on the complexity of any design chosen or the number of projects attempted by students but friendly advice as to your expected ability to achieve these will be offered. This course requires students to have their own equipment (excluding Grinders). Some homework may need to be done in order to complete your project within the course.

Mosaic

This workshop is for the beginner to advanced in mosaic.  You will learn the basics of mosaic, design and grouting techniques. Tools, glue, grout and some glass will be provided however you may need to purchase specific colours.

All material are supplied.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided – Places are limited.

$ 100 ($50 deposit to secure your spot – to be deducted from workshop fee)
